Job Description
The Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track, open rank position in Accounting beginning Fall 2025. The University is categorized as R1 under the Carnegie Classification system. Paul College provides support for research through a subscription to Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) and a number of financial databases, including CRSP, Compustat, IBES, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Audit Analytics, and Eventus.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research and publication agenda in high-quality peer-reviewed journals while teaching the standard load of four courses per academic year, at undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The candidate must demonstrate strong research skills with the potential to publish and be committed to teaching excellence. Advanced candidates should have a strong track record of excellent research and teaching.
Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to teach one or more of the following subject areas: taxation and financial accounting. Service responsibilities would include participation in the department’s initiatives and associated external engagement. Classes may be taught both in-person and online, and the candidate is expected to be on campus for regular office hours and other university and college responsibilities.

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Accounting or Taxation. Doctoral students who are ABD will be considered with a clearly identified plan to complete their doctorate before the start date.
