The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for the position of (On-Call/Temporary) Overnight Custodian within the department of The Morris Inn. The UOES division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

Why this position?
The On-Call/Temporary Overnight Custodian at the Morris Inn will maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness in the common areas of the hotel. General cleaning duties include, but are not limited to, vacuuming carpeted areas; cleaning mirrors, ledges and window sills; spot cleaning walls and doors in all common areas; cleaning water fountains; cleaning chalk and marking boards; cleaning stainless steel, brass and wood work; dusting furniture and horizontal surfaces; sweeping, dusting, dust mopping and damp mopping hard surface floors; cleaning interior glass, entryways, and exits; cleaning vents and light fixtures; cleaning exterior stairs, entries and exits; removing snow and dispensing ice melt compound around building entries and exits.
