Position Summary:The Community Outreach Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that our clinical education aligns seamlessly with didactic training across all programs. This position involves regular visits to hospitals and clinical sites within the Los Angeles area to oversee and enhance our partnerships and clinical training effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and procure clinical slots and placements, ensuring that clinical objectives are met efficiently.
- Develop and maintain relationships with site managers and directors to secure and retain high-quality clinical sites.
- Network actively within the healthcare community to enhance partnerships between CBD College and local hospitals/clinical sites.
- Manage site evaluations and contracts to elevate the clinical training environment continuously.
- Ensure effective communication with students, clinical instructors, and site managers to facilitate excellent clinical training.
- Participate in and organize Advisory Board Meetings and attend program-specific and college-wide meetings.
- Collaborate with the Career Services department to transition students from externships to employment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with administrators, staff, and the community.
- Experience with diverse student populations and a proven track record of improving academic and vocational achievements.
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to innovation and creative problem-solving.
- Proficient in LMS platforms like Moodle or CORE LMS.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree required; higher education preferred.
- Background in Hospitals, Surgical Tech, MRI, DMS, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiography, or other related allied health fields.
- Must be based in or near Los Angeles, as the role requires daily travel to local hospitals and clinical sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
