Job Description
Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who isexperienced in working with Secure facilities and is knowledgeable in ICD705 and related requirements. This position will support the Disaster Resilience Program (DRP) at GFAFB by installing and managing their new NIPR, SIPR, JWICS equipment, networks, accounts, and encryption devices in new and or renovated facilities.

- 8-10 years of experience in Network Engineering, with at least 2 - 4 years of experience in DoD Networking Engineering.

Computer Programs & Software:
- Must have an understanding of use and configuration of encryption devices (KG-175D, KG-175F, KG-175GM).
- At least 2 years of experience with Cisco configuration OSPF and static routing, mGRE Tunnel, QOS, DHCP, ACLs, IPSec (as implemented with HAIPE devices).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite products, and PC hardware architecture.
- Familiarity with GemONE software.
Mandatory Certifications:
- Active Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent level of vendor certifications.
- Active CompTIA Security + or CCNA Security (or higher certification such as CISSP).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or similar Engineering or technical discipline.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):
- Configure Cisco C3850 and C9300 series switches. This includes Layer-2 and Layer-3 switch configurations.
- Maintain port security on all network devices and coordinate with local lab administrators with deployment of new computers, VoIP, dVTC, and sVTC devices.
- Configure and maintain Palo Alto (PA-850) firewalls. This includes network configuration, peer routes, and keying devices. Familiarity with GemONE software is essential.
- Act as a liaison with local lab managers and system administrators on the installation of JWICS network to include hardware purchase, baseline configuration, local system administration responsibilities and duties to maintain system compliance.
- Act as a liaison with DIA personnel on the activation and funding of VoIP, dVTC and sVTC devices.
- Act as liaison with ONI personnel on the creation of network accounts and ensure compliance standards are maintained.
- Provide networking engineering support to NIWC Pacific Code 875.
- Configure and maintain Cisco network devices, Palo Alto firewall appliances and TACLANE (KG175) Type-1 encryptors on seven NIWC Pacific campuses.
- Deploy and maintain Cisco VoIP telephones, dVTC and sVTC devices.
- Teleconference dVTC and sVTC devices.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 annually.
