PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WHICH THIS INDIVIDUAL IS ACCOUNTABLE
1. Participates in service area and state recruitment efforts. Schedules and conducts visits to high schools both in person and virtual.

2. Assures that recruitment efforts are aligned with the goals of the Admissions department and are within current recruitment trends.
3. Develops and maintains strong professional relationships with key recruitment stakeholders such as community groups, non-governmental organizations (NGO), school counselors and parent groups.
4. This person will work with a customer relations management systems (CRM) software, student information systems (SIS), and student planning systems and be knowledgeable of the functionalities, trainings, recruitment tactics, opportunities, and automation of those systems.
5. Clearly communicates the mission and programs of the community college, including transfer degrees, vocational/technical training, and general education. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of courses and programs to provide accurate referrals and guidance to prospective students.
6. Develops workflow within the customer relationship management (CRM) software and student information system (SIS) in collaboration with the Admissions Department to develop a strategic communication plan. Assures that all correspondence is sent in the appropriate format, updated consistently, and in accordance with established communication plans.
7. Works with the Financial Aid Department to ensure dissemination of information and opportunities for awarding scholarships to prospective students.
8. Participates in cross-training of all admissions processes and assists with responsibilities in the absence of other admissions staff.
9. Plan, coordinate, and execute on-campus recruitment events in collaboration with multiple departments on campus.
10. Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) software to track prospective student interactions, applications, and enrollment progress.


11. Recruits, hires, and supervises student ambassadors for the Student Ambassador Program at Western.

12. Develop and oversee the Ambassador Program at Western covering a multidue of objectives including but not limited to communication skills, campus knowledge, event coordination, and marketing initiatives.
13. Participates in recruitment activities/events such as but, not limited to career fairs, conferences, community events and other college presentations. These other recruitment activities/events may be outside of the traditional workday hours.

14. Analyze recruitment, matriculation, and admissions data to assess performance and effectiveness of current and past initiatives.

15. Understands and helps executes Western’s strategic enrollment plan.
1. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, education, at a closely related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience, 2+ years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or related role in higher education.
2. Ability to effectively relate to people of diverse ages and backgrounds.
3. Strong presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Ability to obtain and maintain a Wyoming class “C” driver’s license. Obtain and maintain coverage as a driver under the College’s automobile insurance carrier.
5. Ability to frequently lift up to fifty pounds.
1. Previous work experience in a community college Admissions/Recruitment Office.
2. Proficiency with a variety of software programs including customer relationship management (CRM) software, Student Information System (SIS) sytem, web-based design, word processing, database, and Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Experience with marketing in the public or private sector.
